Top print firm comes back to Manroland
Sao Paolo-based Antilhas Embalagens Editora e Grafica S.A is one of the pioneers of printing in Brazil and prides themselves on innovation and flexibility to service their huge client base which extends to every region of the country.
When you’ve developed packaging solutions for more than 12,000 different outlets people sit up and take notice when you purchase a new printing press. Now the company has chosen Manroland sheetfed presses in the face of fierce competition as part of an R$ 20 million investment programme. They are installin g two ROLAND 700 presses to continue their commitment of combining high-end quality and a low unit price.
The 2-color ROLAND 700 with coating and a 4-color ROLAND 700 PLV 1/3 hybrid will soon be delivering high-quality packaging printing to a range of industries, including cosmetics, perfumery, clothes, shoes, food and beverages; paper and stationery, and communications. The company originally purchased a 6-color ROLAND 700 with coating more than a decade ago. Since then they tried equipment from a rival manufacturer, so Manroland is particularly delighted to welcome back such a prestigious customer.
They will be able to offer a variety of jobs because they can print with UV inks and UV coating or conventional inks and dispersion coating. And as this machine is also configured with APL (Automatic Plate Loading), the set-up time to switch projects is lower, since all the plates are changed automatically.
The IntegrationPilot 2.0 integrates the press directly to the pre-press. Bruno Garcia, Managing Director Manroland Brazil: “Manroland Sheetfed regards the order as confirmation from the industry that we are fully aware of its needs and future development trends.”
