3rd generation management at Schwab Offset keeps investing in manroland sheetfed equipment.

Dusseldorf, 16 May 2012. Schwab Offset KG is a family business present in the Frankfurt area since 1965, operating from the small town of Hainburg and specialized in large format printing for more than 20 years. They print books and magazines, posters, tickets and calendars, advertising, packaging and POS.

Their customers are publishers, manufacturers and advertising agencies, packaging maker and manufacturer of display stands. Each of their customers brings their own questions and expectations, concerns and ideas. And all customers who once came to Schwab, come back many times, because they are in good hands!

The third generation is now managing the company with Alexander Kimpel on the helm. All along its history, the company was always at the forefront of technology, introducing for example photovoltaic solar system to power their plant in 2008. In their search for excellence in printing, they decided during drupa to invest again in a ROLAND 900 press in size 6, with 6 colours and a coating unit with extended delivery. This press is not only the 3rd ROLAND 900 that will be standing in their factory in Hainburg, near another 6 colour and a 4 colour, both with coater and extended delivery, but it is also the 12th press from manroland sheetfed that the company bought in their long history, confirming their confidence in the more than 160 years old manroland. This press will be especially increasing their production capacity in folding boxes and commercial printing.

Drupa 2012 was the ideal opportunity to celebrate this new investment, together with their long standing partner Heinrich Baumann from Frankfurt who supports all their investment projects as manroland Sales and Service partner.
