700 HiPrint brings new options for Netherlands print company
Intergrafipak B.V., a highly successful producer of packaging components for pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, the green sector and the media in The Netherlands, has just installed a new six-colour ROLAND 700 HiPrint with coating and UV configurations.
The purchase, which followed a highly positive customer experience with its existing two color ROLAND 702 LTLV press and an exhaustive test program in Offenbach/Mühlheim, will help the Intergrafipak to meet the specialized needs of its customers, some of whom are major international companies.
Mr. Sietze Stellingwerff, the owner of the 90 employee company said:
“Before the decision for the new press, we used to outsource some jobs, such as the printing of metalized cartons. Moreover, we had to do the UV coating offline, which involved much extra time and work.
“With this new press equipped with UV configurations we are now able to print cardboard as well as synthetic and non-absorbent substances and we can at the same time do the UV coating by a one-pass production process.
“This means a significant increase of our efficiency and productivity and a faster execution of our customer’s orders. This press offers the possibility to print and coat both in a conventional way or to produce full UV. In other words: a total flexibility.”
