Fustelgraf commission 2nd ROLAND 900

Another ROLAND 900 for major packaging printer

Italian company Fustelgraf SPA recently installed a ROLAND 906 LV. The new purchase is the company’s second ROLAND 900 press, following its 2008 purchase of a ROLAND 905 LV.

Established as a lithographer’s shop in 1965, Fustelgraf SPA has developed into a renowned packaging printer in Italy with a total annual turnover of 11 million euros.

With over 60 staff, the company employs the most advanced Manroland printing technology to produce folding cases, boxes and displays in solid or laminated corrugated cardboard for around 100 medium to large scale enterprises in the cosmetics, personal care and home appliance industries.

Speaking about the company’s new press, Fustelgraf SPA CEO Mr Stefano Rubis, said:

“With one more ROLAND 900 installed, we will further expand our production capacity, improve our flexibility, reduce the set-up times and we will be able to get a complete rotation of our staff on the two printing presses.”

Color Pilot is a particularly important tool for Fustelgraf, which demands accuracy, stability and consistency of colors for its 200 million packaging boxes annually, often printed in amalgam.
