Shanxi Daily's first ROLAND 700 HiPrint installed in record time
Once predominantly a printer of a newspaper chain, Shanxi Daily Printing House is now expanding its horizons.
Boosted by fresh investment, it is the latest company to venture into China's lucrative commercial printing market.
Shanxi Daily Printing House, which is under the umbrella of the Shanxi Daily Media Group, got off to a quick start in its new enterprise thanks to the prompt installation of its first ROLAND 700 HiPrint four color.
The successful installation was part of yet another day's work for the PrintServices team
Mr. Chen Xiao, Deputy Head of Shanxi Daily Printing House, was full of praise for the Manroland engineering team, who worked tirelessly in less than ideal conditions.
Admittedly, Shanxi Daily Printing House could not provide in time some of the mandatory installation requirements set by the Manroland installation and project management team; however, this did not prevent the team from delivering its usual standout performance to get the ROLAND 700 HiPrint installed and running in as little time as possible.
“Despite the challenging working environment, such as the delay of a well-prepared workshop, Manroland engineers worked long hours to enable us to start production as soon as possible," Chen said. "After the installation, they ran rigorous printing tests to ensure the successful operation of the printing machine. They also showed great patience in conducting technical training for our operators. We were more than impressed with the professional services provided by Manroland!"
For the team, the successful installation was part of yet another day's work. It shows the engineers' work ethic, devotion to the job and sense of service.
Mr. Roy Xu, head of Engineering Services and Spare Parts, Manroland Greater China, said: "We always stress the professional engineering service we offer is the foundation of optimizing the life cycle of a press. Manroland PrintServices (as well as press installation and technical training) ensures the highest productivity of the press throughout its entire life cycle with customers enjoying maximum return on their investment."
From careful analysis and planning, thorough preparation and professional execution, Manroland ensures the smooth and stable operation of each installed press. Furthermore, with the engineers' extensive knowledge and experience, Manroland provides operators with professional technical training to get a customer’s press into operation as quickly as possible after installation.
"In the face of the increasingly fierce market competition, sheetfed offset needs to do more work than ever before. Apart from the high degree of reliability and consistency, it must be able to meet the more demanding requirements of the print buyers. As a manufacturer of world-class presses, our professional service and support, are the key factors to our customers’ continuous success, and are more important than ever," Mr. Xu added.
Manroland’s comprehensive PrintServices includes press installation, trouble shooting, upgrades, factory planning, professional consultancy, and staff training -- everything a company like Shanxi Daily Printing House needs to ensure the highest productivity and the best return on investment.
