Manroland Greater China held technical training sessions on ROLAND 700 operation and production management

Chinese old saying “sharp tools make good work” means that if the craftsman needs to do the job well, he must sharpen his tools making good preparation first-same for the printing production, the excellent equipment maintenance is the key to the guarantee for the highly efficient production.

Therefore, manroland Greater China made it a point to hold a series of technical training sessions for the customers from Eastern China and Southern China. Namely “ROLAND 700 operation and maintenance” which was held in Jiangyin, Jiangsu Province during October 27 – 30, 2015, and another one “Production management” held in Guilin, Guangxi Province during December 8 – 11, 2015.

During the training session “ROLAND 700 operation” which was held in Jiangyin, the experienced manroland technical experts explained the standard operation of ROLAND 700 presses, and the standard adjustment and maintenance of equipment. It also elaborated how to effectively ensure the premium printing quality by the correct mechanical adjustments, and the electrical troubleshooting that the operator should know about, so as to achieve the target of the reduction of power consumption, costs, and failure rate.

As for the training on Production Management held in Guilin, it not only introduced various models of ROLAND series and the broad range of services portfolio from manroland, but also emphasized the new concept of maintenance: TPM (Total Productive Maintenance). It explained TMP theoretically with the application examples of some domestic printers. As for the printers, TPM is to improve the overall productivity of the presses by the production maintenance activities involving the operators. Because maintenance can create profits for the printing enterprises, manroland actively participates in and promotes the implementation of TPM.

The training sessions have received massive amount of recognition from the customers and the students. Among which the TPM concept was interested by the trainees who are looking for measures to improve the production efficiency, quality standard as well as profitability. Mr. Toby Shang, Training Manager from manroland, said delightedly, “These two trainings can effectively gather the manroland users from the local and the surrounding areas to enjoy the technical feasts together. Furthermore, the communication platforms between manroland and the customers’ management department, and the one among the customers’ management teams have been established.”
