Fuzhou Huacai Printing Co., Ltd. installs the first ROLAND 700 EVOLUTION in Fuzhou City.

Founded in 1980, Fuzhou Huacai Printing Co., Ltd. is a state-owned printing enterprise under the Fujian Education Press. Now attached to The Straits Publishing & Distributing Group, it specializes in printing teaching materials. As a key member factory of the Fujian Newspaper Printing Association, Fuzhou Huacai is responsible for printing various newspapers under central ministries, such as the Workers' Daily, Legal Daily and Guangming Daily. Fuzhou Huacai also print brochures, advertisements and leaflets.

With more than 200 staff members, a 200-acre facility and fixed assets of over RMB 50 million, Fuzhou Huacai has always invested in advanced printing/nl-BE/production equipment. Annual production capacity for black and white printing is around 160,000 reams and colour printing approx.1.28 million colour reams.

Backed by leading printing technology and strong management, Fuzhou Huacai has over the years been providing customers with quality products, often meeting short lead times and many of its products have been recognized in Fujian for their industry-wide excellence.

Fuzhou Huacai also attaches great importance to green printing. In July 2013, it successfully passed the green printing certification.

"Since the reform and opening up, the government and people have paid more attention to the importance of education and knowledge; education publishing printing has developed rapidly," says Mr. Chen.

"However, at the same time, the customers' requirements on teaching materials are increasingly demanding. They don't only need excellent print quality, for example, they also want stable and consistent colour quality - and they want their print orders finished quickly."

For this reason, Fuzhou Huacai puts emphasis on high productivity and high-speed printing to cope with the customers' demands. On top of that, the company also wants to use green printing materials whenever possible.
