Prestigious packaging printer goes from strength to strength

Bengbu Jinhuangshan Rotogravure Printing Co., Ltd. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Brilliant Circle Holdings International Limited, a leader of the printing and packaging industry in China.

Founded in 1997, Bengbu Jinhuangshan is a renowned cigarette packaging printer engaged in product design, production and sales. With more than 50 of the world’s advanced packaging printing equipment including Manroland presses, the company provides popular domestic cigarette manufacturers with high-end cigarette packaging and printing services including prepress, printing and post-press. Its annual production capacity is up to 1.2 million cigarette boxes.

According to Mr Yan Feng, Vice President of Brilliant Circle Holdings a reason why the company has such a high and stable production capacity is largely because of the three Manroland Sheetfed offsets it had installed earlier: a five color ROLAND 700 with coating module and UV system and two seven-color ROLAND 700's with coating module and UV system presses.

However the increasingly fierce market competition has seen many competitors gradually use eight-color printing machines. In order to better meet the needs of customers and reinforce its current market position, Bengbu Jinhuangshan decided to invest in a new eight-color ROLAND 700 EVOLUTION press with coating module and UV system.

Moreover, a variety of highly automated features that come with the ROLAND 700 EVOLUTION, such as PPL (Power Plate Loading), significantly reduces make-ready time and manpower. This helps printing companies to lower the cost and increase profits.

“With this new machine, our production efficiency and printing quality are even more powerful. At the same time, we also provide our customers with faster and better service, such as more color applications,” said General Manager, Mr. Jiang Xiangyu of Bengbu Jinhuangshan.
