Major Serbian print house invests in new 5-color ROLAND 705 LV EVOLUTION

New EVOLUTION press commences production at Palladio East

With a successful partnership spanning more than 20 years, Serbia-based Manroland customer Palladio East, one of the largest and most forward-thinking print houses in the Adriatic region, has commenced production with its latest investment, a 5 color ROLAND 705 LV EVOLUTION press.

Forming part of the giant Italian Palladio Group, Palladio East commenced its Manroland partnership with the purchase of a 4-color ROLAND 704 LV HiPrint and a 5-color ROLAND 705 LV HiPrint press.

Two years ago the company invested in a ROLAND 706 HiPrint press, equipped with automation elements Triple Flow, Simultaneous Plate Changing and UV Select Dryers.

Explaining the significant growth and concomitant increases in production which led to the company’s latest investment in a 5 color ROLAND 705 LV EVOLUTION, General Director Mr. Pera Todorović, said:

“We had to respond to increasingly high demand for quality, efficiency and delivery speed. We evaluated the capabilities of all the major machinery producers. When we saw all the features of the latest EVOLUTION machine, the decision was easy. In terms of quality and efficiency, this is the best quality 3B (B1) format solution on the market.”

Mr. Nenad Janošev, Technical Director for Palladio East described the new investment in these terms:

“This is just a fantastic machine in 3B (B1) format, with 5 colors and a coating unit. It has all of the most important elements - mechanical, electronic and programmatic automation. And it comes with a comprehensive package of equipment and after-sales support. The new machine is equipped with a Coating Unit, TripleFlow function, Low Color Stabilization LCS, QuickStart Plus, QuickChange Color Smart, ColorPilot and SPL. Following installation of the ROLAND 705 LV EVOLUTION, further phases of automation are planned, with connection of all existing machines to a unique workflow."
